NAME
chcreat - change Macintosh file creator

SYNOPSIS
chcreat creator file ...

DESCRIPTION
Chcreat changes the Macintosh creator field of the files
to creator. Creator is stored as a four byte string in
the Macintosh file system. If more or less than four
bytes are supplied, creator is right justified and trun-
cated/padded to four bytes.

The user invoking chcreat must have write permission to
the file, or be the superuser.
